Building is a division of the Planning and Building Department. The Building Official and staff review all construction plans for compliance with the adopted building codes of the Town, water conservation regulations and construction mitigation requirements.
Building Department staff performs all construction inspections necessary to guarantee compliance with approved plans, the current adopted Building Codes and applicable Town ordinances. The Building Official also represents the Town of Telluride in code administration and enforcement. Staff coordinates land use regulation enforcement with the Planning Division.
