Sales Tax
The Town of Telluride's sales tax rate is 4.5%; Colorado State sales tax is 2.9%; and San Miguel County sales tax is 1%. The total combined tax to be collected on retail sales and furninshing of certain services is 8.4%.
The Town of Telluride, a home rule municipality, self collects a sales tax of 4.5%.
