Summer Maps
Things to do in Town Park this Summer:
- Kid's fishing pond. Limit is 4 trout. Young fishermen must be 12 and under. Fishing poles may be checked out at the Information Center in Town Park between May 15th and October 15th. A driver's license or item of value is required to check out fishing poles.
- Imagination Station. Community built play ground located just west of the Hanley Rink, near Bear Creek Field. BBQ grills are also located near the playground.
- Toddler Playground near kid's pond. Check out the new climbing element for ages 5 and up.
- Skate Park is open year round. Come check out the our new facility located in Town Park (built by Grindline Skateparks). Our Skate Park is open from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Lighting at night is on a timer. Trick bikes, rollerblades, skateboards are welcome. Please respect the facility and pick up after yourself.
- Outdoor Basketball Court located in the center of Town Park. Open play. No League offered.
- 2 Sand Volleyball Courts - open play. No League offered
- 2 Tennis Courts - 24 hour advance reservations accepted will be accepted beginning on May 17, 2010. Please call 728-2173.
- 2 Horse Shoe Pits
- 9 hole Disc Golf Course -- DISC GOLF MAP
- 33 Site Campground
- Outdoor Swimming Pool - Opens on May 26th and closes on September 3rd.
- 4 Multi-purpose Ballfields. Bear Creek Field, Warner Field, Little League Field and Festival Field. Call up to two weeks in advance to reserve a field during the summer.
- Concert Stage for Festivals
- The Town Park Core Area, Stage and Pavilion are available for reservations.

- Access to San Miguel River Trail
- Bear Creek Preserve. In 1995, the San Miguel Conservation Foundation and the Town of Telluride acquired the 320 acres adjacent to Town Park now known as the Bear Creek Preserve. The Preserve was recently expanded to include a total of 381 acres of this pristine mountain canyon. The Bear Creek Trail can be accessed from the South end of Pine Street. Interpretive maps are available at the Information Center in Town Park for $1.00. No camping permitted in the Preserve.
