The Outdoor Ice Rink in Town Park is a natural, non-refrigerated rink.  The outdoor rink has a warming hut and bathrooms.  Opens in mid-December and closes in mid-February, pending weather conditions.  Outdoor Ice Rink and Warming Hut hours are 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., 7 days per week for Public Skating.

The Hanley Rink in Town Park is a covered, refrigerated NHL size hockey rink.  Please check the Hanley Rink Schedule for a general layout of public skating, stick handling, scrimmages, and practice times.  Please check the Week-At-A-Glance schedule for specific times and dates regarding public skating, stick handling, scrimmages, practices, and games.   

The Sledding Hill is located on the southern side of Town Park on Firecracker Hill.  Please follow the orange cones that mark the walking path to the sledding hill.  Bring your own sleds or rent one from the Nordic Center.  There is usually enough snow around Thanksgiving for sledding. 


The Telluride Nordic Center  is closed for the season.  It will open again Mid to late November 2010 and closes late March. 
The winter phone for the Nordic Center is 970-728-1144. 
The Nordic center offers youth and adult cross country ski lessons, cross country skate and classic ski rentals, ice skate rentals, ice skate sharpening, and rental sleds for the sledding hill. 
Hours are 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily.
