Suspect in Robbery and Vandalism Incident in Custody
(October 23, 2025) – Telluride, CO – The Telluride Marshal’s Office has taken Nicholas Nelson into custody following an incident that occurred late Tuesday night, October 14, in downtown Telluride.
Deputies initially responded around 11:00 p.m. to a report of an altercation at O’Bannon’s Irish Pub. During the investigation, deputies determined Nelson had committed a robbery and caused property damage before fleeing the area. Deputies later located him near the Town Park Skate Park, where he was found vandalizing town property.
An arrest warrant was obtained, and Nelson has since been taken into custody without further incident.
Nelson faces the following charges:
- Robbery (Felony 4)
- Criminal Mischief (O’Bannon’s Irish Pub)
- Criminal Mischief (Town Property)
- Obstruction of Justice

Sospechoso de robo y vandalismo detenido
(23 de octubre de 2025) – Telluride, Colorado – La Oficina del Alguacil de Telluride ha detenido a Nicholas Nelson tras un incidente ocurrido la noche del martes 14 de octubre en el centro de Telluride.
Los agentes respondieron inicialmente alrededor de las 11:00 p. m. a una denuncia de altercado en el pub irlandés O'Bannon's. Durante la investigación, los agentes determinaron que Nelson había cometido un robo y causado daños materiales antes de huir de la zona.
