Parks & Recreation

The Telluride Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the reopening of facilities and would like to thank you for your patience over the past few months as we navigate through these uncertain times.

Parks & Rec Facilities: 
  • Offices remain closed to the Public. Available by email and phone only
  • No rental equipment provided by P&R until further notice (tennis, fishing poles, bats, balls, etc.)

  • Tennis / Pickleball Courts: Facility and reservations currently open
  • Campground: Facility opens Monday, June 15 (Noon), online reservations starting June 8th
  •  Pools: Lap Pool opens Tuesday, June 16, Rec Pool opens Saturday, June 20, Online reservations starting June 11. Pool users must be San Miguel County residents (part-time or full-time) or individuals working or attending school within San Miguel County. No exceptions!

Recreational Programs:
Information for fall youth soccer, adult softball, and youth swim team are available!

Telluride Town Park consists of 36 acres of landscaped public park and festival grounds. 

The Telluride Parks and Recreation Department sign.jpg offers a variety of year-round programs for youth and adults in Town Park and at the school gyms. Interested participants can register online at https://telluride.maxgalaxy.net

Our staff provides assistance to the Commission for Community Assistance, Arts and Special Events (CCAASE) and the Parks and Recreation Commission.
