Council provided several updates to the Telluride Community Vision and Action Plan at the council retreat, Thursday, December 8. Town planning staff and consultants, Design Workshop, have incorporated the feedback into the current document, which is now available for the final public review period Monday, December 19 through Thursday, January 5.
This will be the last opportunity for public input after nearly nine months of community engagement on the plan, which was created to guide Telluride toward a shared vision and future goals. Senior Planner Phil Taylor thanks the community for their integral part in the process, “It would not be a Community Vision Plan without the support and help of the community. We hope they see themselves in the plan and advocate for their future vision of Telluride.”
The final review and potential adoption of the Community Vision and Action Plan will occur at the next regularly scheduled Town Council meeting, on January 10. Once approved, the plan will be the first step in the Town's Master Plan update which will be implemented in early 2023.
