Home Rule

The Town of Telluride is a home rule municipality. The Mayor and six council members are elected for four-year terms. The Mayor and Town Council members do not have offices at Town Hall.

The Town Council  2020 Meeting Calendar is set at the end of the year for the next calendar year. Meetings are held approximately every third Tuesday at Rebekah Hall, 113 West Columbia Avenue.

Town Council agendas and packets are posted and published on this website on the Friday preceding the meeting and can be downloaded through our Meeting Portal. Town Council meetings are also video-recorded and streamed live via Telluride TV or heard via KOTO radio.

Notice Is Hereby Given That The Telluride Town Council, At A Regular Meeting On June 30, 2020 At Approximately 1:00pm, Via A Virtual Meeting, Will Consider Approval Of An Emergency Ordinance Of The Town Council Of The Town Of Telluride, Colorado Adopting A Public Health Order And Emergency Ordinance Of The Town Of Telluride, Colorado For The Preservation Of Health, Peace And Safety, The Promotion Of Health And The Suppression Of Disease Requiring All Persons To Wear Face Coverings Upon Entering, And At All Times While Remaining Inside Of, An Indoor And Enclosed Place Of  Business That Is Open To The Public And When Using Any Form Of Public Transportation And Imposing Specific Penalties For Violations Of This Emergency Ordinance And Declaring An Emergency.
