How do I apply for an exterior sign for my business?

Exterior signs for your business go through a staff-level review with the Historic Preservation Department and the Issuance of a Certificate of Appropriateness must occur prior to installation. 

A HARC Sign Application (PDF) must be completed and sent to the Historic Preservation Department to begin the process. Signs must follow Land Use Code Regulations (Article 3, Division 4) specifications.

Copies are also available in the Planning Department, Rebekah Hall, 113 W. Columbia Avenue, Telluride.
