What is considered proper swimwear for the pool?

Proper swim attire must be worn & is subject to approval by staff.  Swimmers must wear clean, colorfast garments that are suitable for swimming & do not interfere with their safety or the quality of the water.  Clean water shoes are permitted.  Clothing including cutoffs, colored cotton, street clothes, garments or braces with exposed metal, underwear, or clothing worn for exercising immediately prior to swimming are prohibited.
