When is election day?: Regular Municipal Elections are held on the first Tuesday following the first Monday in November in odd-numbered years unless otherwise required by Colorado Constitution Article X, Section 20 or C.R.S. § 1-41-101, et seq. All special and regular elections are nonpartisan. The next regular election is scheduled for November 7, 2023.

1. All special and regular elections are nonpartisan. The next regular election is scheduled for November 7, 2023.

2. How do I register to vote or update my registration?

Most Citizen Electors can now register, verify, and/or update their voter registration online at www.GoVoteColorado.com.

Town Residents can register in person at:

San Miguel County Clerk & Recorder—Elections, 305 W. Colorado, Telluride, CO 81435

or

Any State of Colorado Driver’s License Agency

Permanent Resident Card Holders must register in person at:

Town Hall, 135 W. Columbia Ave., Telluride, CO 81435

3. Where can I find past election results and documents?: Past election information can be found online through our electronic records portal.

4. Does the Town of Telluride limit contributions to candidates?: Yes, the Town of Telluride adopted contribution limits for candidates, candidate committees, and political committees. See Telluride Municipal Code 2-1-100 for details. Additional Campaign Finance information can be found through the Colorado Secretary of State.

5. Who can I contact for additional election information?: Contact Town Clerk Tiffany Kavanaugh at (970) 728-2157 or via email tkavanaugh@telluride-co.gov.

6. When are where do I file Campaign Finance filings?: Campaign Finance forms should be submitted to the Clerk's Office, 135 W Columbia Ave, Telluride, CO 81435 or by emailing tkavanaugh@telluride-co.gov. Hard copies must be received within seven days of receipt of an electronic filing.
