A business that qualifies as a retail establishment or an art gallery may apply for a permit to serve complimentary alcoholic beverages up to 24 times a year.
- A "retail establishment" is an establishment that has the primary purpose of selling goods or services to the public that:
- (I) conducts business at a physical building in Colorado and,
- (II) derives less than fifty percent (50%) of the establishment's gross sales of goods and services from the sale of food.
- An "art gallery" is an establishment whose primary purpose is the display and sale of works of fine art and precious or semi-precious metals or stones.
- Allow at least 30 days for processing of your application before you plan to begin serving alcohol.
- Applicants apply using the State of Colorado form.
- Applicants must appear before the Telluride Liquor Licensing Authority.
