To help residents and guests get into town affordably and easily, we recommend these free parking options during the festival:
Shandoka Parking Lot
Located at the west end of town (860 Black Bear Road), this lot offers free all-day parking. It’s a short walk or ride on the Galloping Goose bus to downtown. No overnight parking allowed.
Entrada / Longwill Lot
This lot provides free parking up to 72 hours, perfect for multi-day stays without worry. Keep an eye out for signs and permit instructions—vehicles parked over 72 hours may be ticketed or towed.
Lawson Hill Transit Lot
Park for free at the County Lawson Hill Park and Ride Lot, also known as the Intercept Lot, and take the SMART bus into downtown Telluride. This is a convenient and eco-friendly way to avoid traffic and parking challenges during the festival.
Please note: Parking for festivalgoers is limited to the spaces west of the bathroom structure. All spaces east of the bathroom structure are reserved for regular commuters and must remain available throughout the event.
Buses run regularly and drop you off right in town—no need to worry about driving or finding a spot downtown.
Street Parking (2‑Hour Zones)
Street-side spots are free for 2 hours between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on most side streets. Reference the Town Parking Map and look for the zones in dark blue.
Helpful Tips
- Start early to secure a space—lots fill up fast on festival days.
